For anyone wondering, I do have a few personal projects I’m working on— though I haven’t touched them since before PMX though. The Narin Dreamer heads I feel kind of stuck on. The first one just doesn’t feel like Tim to me, and I want to redo that face-up. The second one is an odd resin color, but now that I have an airbrush I guess I could always try an opaque layer of paint on him to make him match a body.

The face-up on the first one is nice too— I’m just not feeling Tim with it. Kind of feels like a waste to wipe it though— like maybe I should just finish it to put it in my portfolio or something.  Looking at it right now, I think if I thicken the eyeliner he may look less, uh, sneaky I guess. He just has a bit of a sly expression right now.

The CH tinies are my sister’s dolls that she hasn’t touched in a long while. They’re actually coming out really cute! I’ll probably finish them before she gets back from Taiwan if I find the time. They’re still a ways from being finished though.

The Marco is a challenge. There’s a lot about this sculpt that makes him look a bit awkward. I want to try something that makes him look really different, but I’m still thinking about it. Hence why he hasn’t even been started on yet.

In a few days, my Idealian51 will arrive and he’ll probably get priority when it comes to personal projects though. January has been a really slow month when it comes to face-up commissions, for some reason! I just got my first batch of heads in this week, for instance. Oh well! Let’s get working whooooo.
