I’m considering after I reach fifty followers on Tumblr, I’ll start the seasonal face-up giveaway as a thanks for the support I’ve received over the years in this hobby.

I’m planning on doing at least two a year depending on how busy I am, and I still do not know what would be a fair length of time to run them to allow people ample time to hear about it to reblog. While it is unfortunate that it will force people who want a free face-up to join Tumblr, it feels like the most organized and easiest way for me to do it instead of having it be across various websites (Flickr, Twitter, DoA, and so on) to make sure EVERY interested party will be ultimately notified.

The reason why I don’t want to do this too often— which is why I’m thinking twice a year— is that it may tire me out or seem unfair to customers on a wait-list unless I time these giveaways just right. It’s suitable for right now because at this moment my wait-list is less than half full. Rough guidelines so far are that if a person wins, she will get a free face-up but shipping will still have to be on them unfortunately since doll’s are precious commodities that are collected internationally, and if the doll head must be cleaned there will still be a cleaning charge ($5, I do this to protect myself actually because I’ve received heads that have been stained by the company face-up and it’s tricky explaining that to owners) while eyelashes will be provided for free.

I’ll write an official, thoughtful, and more concise post about this when fifty followers happen then. : ) Till then— thanks for everything! Will update soon when I progress more with face-ups. The LLT head has been glossed, I just need to install eyelashes. I meant to install eyelashes tonight but then I almost got sticky fingers from his extremely glossy lips that were still drying! When will I ever learn to be hasty…? Not soon enough, it seems, haha. I managed to make myself leave it alone on this cold night to ensure that his thickly glossed lip layers will dry completely before I start assaulting his face with glue and tools again! The LTF and Migidoll have been recoated in the meantime.

Hopefully this means that tomorrow will bring more photos.
