Hey everyone! I took all the advice very seriously— such as about how her nose was too far-gone, and that I should carve a mouth. So, I went back and modded her some more— I shaped her nose to be more prominent, and then carved a mouth a little smile for her. I didn’t realize that the mouth mod wouldn’t be that noticeable after I painted her, but it’s really there, haha!

I’ve done all I can with this head now, so it’s time to move onto a new one. I’ll most likely sell this one on Ebay or something to fund the next one to continue DDH01 quest! So far I’ve managed shy/pouty, and now energetic/spirited.

Two and a half hours of modding later, Mabel is done. She’s on the left-hand side.

Might be hard to see, but I think the mods are most prominent around the lower face area. While the original head (on the right-hand side) had a protruding lower jaw, the new one has a very softened lower jaw to look moe, cute, simplified.

I shaved her chin down all the way to the neck hole, carved a smile in, softened her cheeks, carved a higher nose, and so on and on and on and on. My left-hand got super tingly at one point so I’m going to stop. It just made a weird popping sound, and then the entire hand started to shake??? What…

I don’t have a wig in her size, so I’m just using a wig to frame her face while it’s being held down by the hoodie. Also, I put her on a Volks MSD body just for photos. The elastic is actually a bit too thick to be able to string through the head.

Sand sand sand sand!

This may look freaky right now but it’s going pretty much according to plan. <3 I’m at the finishing steps now where I just need to smooth things out, and then buff the head back to its original grittiness.

Rory and Lil’ Leanne.

I’ve been thinking recently that I’d love a Tibetan Lamb wig for Rory. Any recommendations? I would buy Tinybear but I don’t know if her shop is still around since she’s been dealing with family things for a while. I’ve been looking around. It seems that the Tibetan Lamb wig trend is over so there aren’t as many shops for it as I remember.

I guess I could also buy a plate myself and stitch one up! I love the beautiful colors that some people dye by hand!
